The "Last modified" date that appears at the bottom of each page now only indicates when the home page was last modified NOT the page you are viewing. As the home page rarely requires updating the date is unhelpful.

Dr Causer has a lot of information on items related to hardening of the arteries (atherosclerosis). Some of this information will be displayed on the website. However, the version here will not be the most up to date and the usual rule about use of the site applies (see the site warning). Today the Royal Mail has issued a new set of stamps depicting fruit & vegetables. Cancer and coronary heart disease account for 60% of all early deaths. A key feature of the Government's prevention strategy to reduce early deaths from these diseases is action to improve diet and nutrition.  Click here.

The web server crashed over the bank holiday weekend so you may have had difficulties accessing the site. All the pages have been deleted and resubmitted so all should be well now.

Friday 25th August 2000: E-mail hyperlinks.
It has been brought to our attention that users of the Netscape browser may find that the "Mailto:" hyperlinks do not work. Users may need to "cut and paste" our e-mail addresses into their e-mail programs.

Men should read this information before deciding to have the blood test. After reading this, if you decide you still want the test, you should make an appointment with your usual doctor. The practice sisters will not do the blood test if you do not have a form from your doctor.  Click here.
