Promote bone health
eat a healthy diet containing lots of calcium rich foods such as milk, cheese and yoghurt. Aim for 700mg calcium per day
stop smoking
keep alcohol intake within safe limits
take 30 minutes regular weight bearing exercise at least 3 times per week
