When an asthmatic is having serious difficulty with breathing there is a shortage of oxygen available too the body. However, the seriousness of the shortage is difficult to assess. This equipment measures the amount of oxygen in the blood without even having to pierce the skin. The result will be more accurate assessment of the situation and better treatment as a result.
