| The Lichfield District Safer Community Partnership has a domestic violence forum committed to making the area a safer place to live. The forum aims to both raise awareness of the issue and provide information to those affected. The Victim Support Drop In Centre is open on Wednesdays 9.30-4.30 at Mansell House 22 Bore Street: the offices of the Lichfield and District Council for Voluntary Service. Telephone 01543 30 1000. The Pathway Project has a 24 hour helpline 01543 676 800. There is an Asian women's helpline on 0121 303 0368.

However, violence also happens in gay and lesbian relationships and, in a small number of cases, by women against men. In a crisis situation your safety is vital.
